Cheap power solution for BMPCC

Just a quick note on how I powered my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. I have been looking for a power solution for a long time since I got my hands on the little camera. It produces very lovely images but the battery life is just, well, suck. I tried many things and they don’t work as I expected.
However, recently, I have to move my house again so I wrapped things together and found a battery that I bought 2 years ago for my 7″ monitor that I didn’t even want to use due to the poor build and crappy solution.
The battery is one like this. But it comes with a different plug size that the BMPCC used. Fortunately, I also bought some 2.35mmx0.7mm adapters a few months ago. The combination works wonderfully and CHEAP! They’re together just $25 and it keeps my pocket camera up for about 8 hours of shooting (on and off many times during the day).
Hope that helps some of those who’s still trying to get a good and cheap power solution for the pocket camera 🙂
P.S. You may also want to read this post on bmcuser. A user has used the similar power and got his battery caught on fire. So be careful!
